First Draft

Film Title

When coming up with a film title, we wanted something that would link with the idea of youth and coming-of-age.
These are some of the ideas we considered:

Archie Untitled - This was our first initial title as we thought it linked to the fact that our main character, Archie, was unsure of his identity within the film hence why he goes through many different phases.
Archie the Brave - This idea was like to the fact that in the original first draft of our script we were going to include that the name Archie means 'truly brave'. However, this was scrapped in our final draft of our script meaning it wasn't relevant anymore.
Fluorescent Adolescence/Youth - We liked the use of the word 'fluorescent' in our film title and thought using adolescence/youth would link to the fact it is a coming-of-age film
Efflorescent Youth - This title built on the previous film title but has more meaning as Efflorescence means 'blooming' and we thought this had connotations of growing and maturing like our character would in the film.

Final film title: Efflorescent Youth
