Second Draft Trailer Tweaks
Although we were initially happy with the final draft of our trailer, we were able to find areas of improvement which would make our trailer even better.
These were some of the minor tweaks that we had to make:

First Draft Trailer Tweaks
We received constructive criticism of our first draft which enabled us to gain another perspective on our trailer. From this feedback we were able to make significant improvements to our trailer.

Test Audience Feedback
We were able to obtain feedback from at least 30 students who were all in our age demographic and receive feedback sheets from them. This was especially helpful in reviewing our trailer and what improvements could be made in it.
These were some of the most helpful and instructive feedback sheets:

Key points of improvement:
-narrative/plot was revealed to the audience which gave them no incentive to want to see it in the cinema
-eyeliner scene was presented to be much more significant than it actually was when combined with the headlights scene
-sound overlapped in some parts of the trailer, specifically the phases

First Draft Poster

| First Draft |
This was the poster that we first made for our film which has a similar layout and design to our initial idea that we gained the most positive feedback for. However, we were unable to get a good quality close up picture of our actor's eyes looking up. Therefore, the image we used didn't really work within the concept of the poster, so we decided go with an alternative design which I made, as we preferred the layout and felt it still captured the feel of our film, as well as reflecting the genre.
This was the alternative design that I made using a shot of Archie feature in the trailer. We liked this poster design and the layout of it but we also decided to make some minor improvements to it in order for it display brand cohesion with our trailer and website.

Film Title
When coming up with a film title, we wanted something that would link with the idea of youth and coming-of-age.
These are some of the ideas we considered:
Archie Untitled - This was our first initial title as we thought it linked to the fact that our main character, Archie, was unsure of his identity within the film hence why he goes through many different phases.
Archie the Brave - This idea was like to the fact that in the original first draft of our script we were going to include that the name Archie means 'truly brave'. However, this was scrapped in our final draft of our script meaning it wasn't relevant anymore.
Fluorescent Adolescence/Youth - We liked the use of the word 'fluorescent' in our film title and thought using adolescence/youth would link to the fact it is a coming-of-age film
Efflorescent Youth - This title built on the previous film title but has more meaning as Efflorescence means 'blooming' and we thought this had connotations of growing and maturing like our character would in the film.
Final film title: Efflorescent Youth
